Approx (guess) 700 sq foot completely unfinished basement. We'd be interested in finishing a portion of our basement with a general living area, and perhaps one half or 3/4 bath, and possibly one small office, depending on cost and space limitations. my current basement has cracks in the wall and old windows from when it was originally built. I want to redesign the basement with dry wall or something comparably close to it. The wash room is also in the basement along with a bedroom that's coming apart, and a so called family room that needs updating to the 21st century.

We have approximately 800 unfinished square feet in our basement. We are looking for estmiates... the ceilings are too low (it used to be an outdoor cellar), you have to duck your head under the doorway on your way down the stairs, we have 4 windows that need to be replaced (maybe make 2 of them egress windows, we would like to add a bedroom, a rec room and a bathroom down there, along with a storage space and possibly a laundry area. We also have a large crawl space around the perimeter. Our home is 100 years old, and we are looking to stay with the craftsman style of the home. Thanks.

Would like to finish basement with 2 bedrooms, office, common area, bathroom and storage area. Not looking for anything very fancy but practical and cost is a big issue for us. We also want to make sure the area is as safe as possible with window exits as children will be staying in the rooms.

I have a full basement, app 1200 square feet. I need waterproofing and a remodel...I would like to turn the basement into a family room/play area.
